On October 12th, 2001, i-forum the former "i Format Forum" was established to support various corporations with their new mobile business development, and to contribute to technological development in the industry of mobile location information.
i-forum, the former "i Format Forum“ is the gathering of various enterprises relating to mobile terminals and/or location-information services, which has developed "i format", the server system standards, aiming at advancement of mobile location information industries and has offered basic navigation services and real-time guidance information since its establishment as of October 2001.
Recently, we recognize the importance of providing necessary disaster and emergency information as a high-level socially valuable service and have been working in our specific conference set up in December 2007.
